The UNITE International Sr. Artistic Directors team, top salons, UNITE team members and UNITE special guests joined together to hold three different events over a 4-day time period: UNITE Global Session, UNITE Paramount Business & UNITE Unveiled Fashion Show/Party.
UNITE Global Session
Global Session, an amazing educational experience, focused on a combination of demonstration & hand-on's courses featuring UNITE's International Senior Artistic Team lead by UNITE Founder/CEO, Andrew Dale. The team included amazing work from Julie Mustoffa, Michael Haase, Renee Africa, Steven De Lorenzo, Ana Montes de Oca, Joel Goncalves (UK), Jennie Roberts (UK), Scott Ade (UK), Gary Glossman (UK) and Lorena Barron (CAN). The inspiration to this years collection came from the runways and fashion that hit the catwalks in New York, London and Paris last February. The collection, Vintage Variety, consisted of a variety of up-do's, short and long cuts which diffienterated themself throught different textures, similar to the vast textures seen on this season's runways, which were inspired by fashion of the 1940's, 60's & 70's.

UNITE partnered with Karen Millen who fitting the hair models in Karen Millen looks for the sold out event. Editor of behindthechair.com, Jackie Summer's, not only attended the event, but was inspired to write 14 tips learned from the demonstrations of the Sr. Artistic Director team on stage at Global Session.

UNITE Unveiled Fashion Show/Party
The runway was bright, the venue was packed, DJ Tina T was spinning and cocktails hosted Svedka/Red Bull were chilled. UNITE Unveiled is a night of celebration for stylists and the industry, and this year, additionally motivated by a cause, breast cancer awareness. Hosted by Unite Founder, Andrew Dale and Special Guest Audrina Patridge, the fashion show highlighted the versatility of the Global Session Collection for four designers, all alumni of San Diego's Fashion Career's College, and their collections on the catwalk, which can then be brought back to recreate in the salon. Hair was led by Michael Haase, Julie Mustoffa, Jennie Roberts, Joel Goncalves and Scott Ade.
UNITE partnered w/ the Keep A Breast Foundation to raise awareness by reaching out to celebrities such as Carrie Kegan, Lisa Rinna, Julissa Bermudez, Kimberly Caldwell, Elisabeth Rohm and Elizabeth Gillies to have their torso's casted then painted and up for auction (see image above, right). UNITE Paramount Business
Paramount Business is a revolutionary business program designed for salon owners and managers to learn strategies to build the mulit-million dollar salon. The course was led by Andrew Dale, Marcus Allen (Urban Retreat General Manager, Harrods London) and Gene Cahill (Owner, The Parlour), was completely sold out and included many of UNITE's growing and established salons.
